the littles and we hosted a shower for mary and dustin's sweet little third born to be, charlotte cate...it was a super fun evening celebrating a new little one! we had three pregnant friends there and *i* wasn't one of them, for once :)

these camera phone pictures do NOT do this downpour justice! we were at the soccer fields and it starting POURING!!! it was near the end of the season, so we did NOT want to reschedule!!! we played for about 20 minutes and called the game! sarah and i stood out in the rain while she played while tim sat in the car with the boys! the crazy things we do for our kids :)

i have to say, i really admire ms. lampkins, the principal at crosswind. she puts her ALL into that school. she dressed as woody in this program. i don't have another elementary school principal to compare her to, but i'd put her up against anyone!!!

we rolled straight into stewart's fish camp for a delicious seafood buffet when we arrived in franklinton...
(please note my two middle kids' shoes...i should clarify that we stopped in amite at walmart to obtain shoes for drew and jake before dinner, as they had doffed their shoes unbeknownst to their parents BEFORE we left home!)

we had to check out the new campgrounds/park near g.g.'s house...A BIG hit with the kids!!!

as always, we had a wonderful visit with our extended family!!!
