sarah's choir debut...october 21st
sarah is in 3 year old choir this year at church...and i am the 3 year old choir director! that basically means i yell as loud as i can for 2 hours every sunday night to try to be heard over the clamour of 20-25 3 year olds!!! on sunday night, october 21st, sarah's choir, along with the 4/5 year old and kindergarten choirs, sang in the worship service. they sang a song where the kids wave their hands in the air and jump up and down...a lot! it was too cute!just fyi...

we hung out with the smallwood's and york's after preschool one afternoon. the kids had so much fun feeding the ducks, even if the kids would throw entire pieces of bread at the ducks instead of tiny bits. the little kids stayed safely away from the pond in their strollers. looks like they were having a blast too! yeah, right! all drew was saying was "out...out...out"! i tried to pretend that drew was the same age as his younger playmates. anyway...we did let everyone loose once we went over to the playground. what a great way to pass a whiny, cranky after preschool afternoon! thanks amy and mary!!!

the weekend of sugar...griffin's 3rd birthday party-sept 30th
griffin was a super-cute birthday boy, huh?!? the day after sarah's party, as we were slowly recovering from the mounds of cake and ice cream we had eaten there, we went to griffin's fire station birthday party to eat some more!!! all the kids had a blast playing on the firetrucks, lawnmowers (?), and fire equipment. it was a great party to round out a really great weekend! goodbye september!!!Monday, October 29, 2007

yes, sarah DOES have christmas pj's on in these pics...after her party, poppy bill gave sarah a very special present that he got her in chicago. her very first american girl doll...the bitty baby! we were so proud that poppy went shopping for sarah! sarah was trying on carter's christmas pj's to check for sizing before poppy brought in the presents, and of course, didn't want to change clothes before opening another gift!!!
