playing on the beach...6.14

well, after what seemed like hours of preparation...

and 10 minutes of loading down the stroller with all the beach "essentials"...

and getting on the golf cart to cross the resort to the beach...

and abusing uncle andy's muscles for lugging all our stuff down to the sand...

we were beachside for maybe ten minutes when jacob took a face dive straight into the sand...

awww...mimi to the rescue...

so daddy headed straight back to the condo to comfort baby jake (who fell asleep almost immediately after all the sand was off his poor little face)...

while mimi, uncle andy, and mommy stayed at the beach with all our stuff and sarah and drew...

the kids had so much fun...
you know, not playing with one single thing we drug down to the beach...

of course, the best thing was getting to have a turn in the ocean with uncle andy...

he was way more fun than boring ole mommy...

enjoy the brief glimpse of our time on the sand...ewwww! (i much prefer the relative cleanliness and orderliness of the pool!!!)
