g.g., aunt ann, jacob, and seth all came to memphis to visit in late MARCH and to meet baby matthew!

like any good great aunt, aunt ann arrived with all those contraband items that a mother would never let her children have!!!...silly string fights ensued...

followed by copious amounts of sugar...(i think mimi might have been involved in this breech of code as well)...

nicholas's 6th birthday party...MARCH 27th

way long ago...we went to nicholas's birthday party at the spaghetti warehouse...

baby matthew was only 17 days old...

my sweet aunt jodie sent a HUGE care package of goodies for everyone when baby matthew arrived! sarah and drew had a great time modelling their new head gear!!!

my sweet friend mary came to pick up drew for a birthday party since i had a 10 day old...of course i had to snap a few pics of drew with his bff ava...so cute!!!

since drew was still recovering from surgery on his birthday weekend, we tried to do a few fun little things to mark the special day...

the yorks met us for a movie and frozen yogurt date!

later that day, we went on a family walk and bike ride!

we didn't realize it was quite so windy! jake was miserable!

the walk was short lived, but we still had a great time and burned off a little energy (well, jake notsomuch)!

our first days as a family of 6...

miss sheri came over sunday night to meet matthew and bring us a delicious dinner!

our first ride ALL TOGETHER in the van. it is quite full. its a bit surreal to look in the rear view mirror and see all those kids and remember they are ALL mine :) so thankful!!!
