the other night while i was blow drying sarah's hair, she was talking non-stop as usual. all of the sudden she exclaims, "mommy! do you know what i have on my tongue?"..."TASTE BUGS!!!"
apparently, they are still studying the 5 senses at school :)
although she called them bugs, she did know that she had different bugs for salty, sweet, bitter, and sour...pretty good, huh?

today during the kids' snack time, sarah and drew started kicking each other. nice, i know...so they obviously got in trouble. i spanked both of them.
like 2 hours later, before drew ran off to take a shower, he came up to me, gave me a hug and kiss and said, "mommy, thank you for my spankin'!"
do you think those words have ever been uttered by a child without them dripping in total sarcasm?!?
