a very special day at the zoo!!!

we were VERY happy to have uncle andy AND poppy bill join us at the zoo on friday!!! of course, mimi was eager to go to the zoo, but we were so glad that the two "scrooges" thought it was a great way to spend the day too!!! we saw all the animals and got to have lunch at back yard burger by the monkeys!!! what a fun day! we miss you already, uncle andy!

well, we are all adjusting to the new house! we FINALLY got internet service again yesterday. when we moved in, the former owners had not cut off their service. so we had THEIR service through last thursday. then, all of the sudden, we had NO phone, NO internet, NO cable. it was horrible! and after tim spending 6 hours (no joke) on our cell phone with comcast, we finally got our services going again. thus, the blog break and lack of promised pics. i am going to post the beautiful pics that josh took at drew's 1st birthday party, new house pics, and zoo pics...to name a few... so stay tuned!

we're still alive...barely

we are officially moved into our new house...and we are DEAD DOG TIRED!!! but, we are here, and for that, we are thankful. our families have been SO SO SO helpful in tending to the kids, providing meals, etc. my sweet grandmother, GG, cleaned bathrooms and floors for 3 days straight! i know she's tired, but so very appreciated! i'll update with house pics, etc after a few more days of unpacking and, perhaps, resting :) for now, we are glad that the big moving weekend is behind us!
