i LOVE me some clean babies! the kiddos were all in such good moods after the "bath night ordeal" that we had to take some pictures! so sweet!

mother's day and baby jacob's dedication...5.10

doesn't drew look thrilled?...he is such a little punk when we try to get him to smile for the camera these days! we were SO glad to have nana and pop pop with us this sunday too!

jacob was the STAR baby...pastor hal asked miss sandy which baby he should hold in the service and she said jacob was the most laid back baby she knew :) so, jacob walked around with hal for a few minutes...miss sandy's OWN grandchild was dedicated that morning too! a special morning!

it was a very great morning! we made it through the dedication portion of the ceremony with no tears and no stains on our clothes...and then we all headed to our house for a great, relaxing lunch and lazy afternoon. it was a great way to celebrate mother's day!!!

most of the time that uncle andy was in memphis, sarah and drew were either sitting ON him, NEAR him, or as close to him as possible...i LOVE it :)

ocho de mayo and a HUGE surprise...5.8

we were going to have a typical cinco de mayo party on tuesday night with our friends the jenkins, herringtons, and yorks, but mac is travelling right now during the week for work, so we postponed to friday night...and coined the party excuse..."ocho de mayo".

the kiddos played outside and inside to their hearts content and the adults enjoyed a relaxing evening of conversations that didn't involve "why?" being asked every other second!

the huge surprise? uncle andy came home for mother's day weekend! mom and i had NO clue it was all going down...apparently we both shed a few tears when we first saw him! after surprising mom and having dinner with mom and dad, andy headed over to our house to surprise me too!!! it was a great way to start the weekend!

we started our fun filled evening around 5 pm, so we were all tired out by 10 pm! we were such babies!!! we kept thinking it was SOOOOO late, but it really wasn't! uncle andy made the observation that my friends and i were REALLY old. he based this on the fact that all the moms got in the kitchen and cleaned for 20 minutes before they left! ha! i just think that's having good friends!!!

my silly little man was making the most hilarious faces one night while i was feeding him cereal...these pics are only 8 days into his spoon feeding experience. he was hamm-ing it up! he kept opening his mouth as wide as he possibly could and squinting his eyes up. i was laughing so hard...of course i had to run get the camera! i tried explaining the whole thing to daddy when he got home, but it didn't make any sense til i showed him the pictures! what a mess!!!

i couldn't narrow down the pictures any more than this...i know its overkill, but i think they are all too precious!!!
