the rest of the morning...day 3...magic kingdom...2.23

after breakfast, we spent the rest of the morning at magic kingdom. we visited ariel in her grotto. ariel really liked sarah's flip flops--which sarah really liked!!!
getting ready to ride cinderella's carousel...

drew really did like the carousel...i promise!

today was the only day that we experienced any of florida's famous weather patterns! it rained for about an hour of our morning that day! we were prepared with rain ponchos...so we were fine! well, once we sought shelter and got the ponchos on!!! sarah's snow white dress got a little wet, provoking a huge fit on her part! so while we were in line for "its a small world" we changed sarah's clothes! seems to be a disney must-do!!!
notice the gross wet hair in this pic!!!
and this one!!! (sorry mom...the picture repressents our "rain time" at disney!)
mom and i convinced everyone to wear the same shirt this day! we took a picture in front of cinderella's castle all dressed alike!!! it was another fun morning!!!

breakiing news!!!

guess what?!? around 12:30 today, as all 250 of us were sitting in the juror room wondering when we were going to get a lunch break, the commissioner came in. he first said that we weren't getting a lunch break today. then he announced that all the cases on the docket for this week had settled and we were FREE TO GO FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK!!! yipee! quite amazing from what i hear of others! next week is a conference for all of the judges in shelby county, so the courts are closed. i think that this week is kinda like the last week of school...relatively speaking. don't open any new cans of worms til the new year starts! so, i really lucked out! i was able to get ALL the way back to germantown in time to get the kids from preschool! in typical fashion, sarah was MAD that i picked her up from school because she thought daddy was going to!!!

so, i made a huge dent in disney picture-posting...and then i was released! and i don't have to serve again until after i turn the big 4-0!!! that makes it sound A LOT further away than just saying its 10 years from now!

morning of day 3...magic kingdom...2.23

since i had realized the sweet deal of getting to the parks before they open yesterday--today the whole fam went over to the magic kingdom in time for sarah, mimi, and my breakfast at cinderella's royal table in the castle!!! the kids, by this point, knew what was about to happen when we got lined up to get on the bus...so they were really excited that morning!

drew needed a little extra cuddle time while we were on the bus!!!
mimi and sarah at our breakfast! when we entered the castle, we got in a line to have a picture made with cinderella herself! then we climbed 100 stairs (no joke!) in a spiral staircase to get to our breakfast! we were really high in the castle and had great views of the mk!!!
mimi and sarah!

sarah and mommy!

sarah with cinderella...once cinderella came upstairs to join us at breakfast!

all of the princesses making their grand entrance!

sarah was SO HUNGRY that morning...she ate and ate and ate! it was too funny!

sarah and jasmine
sarah and her twin, snow white!
all of the children were given magic wands and swords when we got to the castle. at one time they had all the kids wave them in the air while they sang and danced. when the lady gave sarah her magic wand, sarah asked if she could have one for drew too...the sweet lady gave her one to take to him :)

evening of day two...hanging at our resort...2.22

when we found out that the magic kingdom was having a "princess and pirate party" on friday night of our trip...that cost an additional $44.95 PER PERSON to attend...to basically do the same thing you can do for "free" any other night...we decided to have dinner at the whispering canyon cafe in the wilderness lodge...attached to the villas. again, the kids took long naps on friday...when we got up from sleeping, we headed to dinner. this restaurant was great! very high energy and entertaining for the kids.
sarah was called over with a gaggle of girls to serenade a little boy for his birthday...i was so surprised she went by herself!!!
sarah also participated in a wooden pony race...and got a certificate to prove it!

we also chose tonight to start celebrating drew's 2nd birthday! he was serenaded as well and given a yummy dessert!

once the kids were through eating, a PRECIOUS employee named lena played with them. the kids had a blast running around looking for "monsters"...
drew standing on the bridge in the lobby yelling, "AHHHHHHHH!!!!"

after dinner we sent a very tired mimi and poppy back to the room and the rest of us headed out for a little more adventure. we decided to ride the boat around for a while. the kids LOVED the boat!

thus ended another fun-filled day at disneyworld! the kids were in bed by 11:30 that night! another woodard record!!!

the rest of the morning...day two...hollywood studios...2.22

the rest of the gang met us at the entrance to the magic kingdom after bbb to head to hollywood studios by monorail to bus...sarah and drew were SO happy to see each other!!! drew kept saying, "sarah...princess".

we got to sit with the "pilot" in the front of the monorail! it was so neat! the views were excellent and the kids thought it was fun to be the "line leaders"!
notice how sarah's hands are in the pic below...she took her princess title very seriously!!!

we didn't take too many pics at hollywood studios because we were mostly in shows...we did meet jojo!!!
we saw a little mermaid show, the playhouse disney show, and beauty and the beast! beauty and the beast was like a broadway show!!! amazing!

we ate lunch at hollywood studios, and the boys (daddy and poppy) headed off for their golfing adventure from there. they played at the magnolia course...apparently a PGA tour site. i think they purchased 24 balls and came home with 2 or 3 :) they actually ditched us prior to the beauty and the beast show and a yummy ice cream break!!!

the bibbidi bobbidi boutique!!! 2.22

when we entered the bbb, all of the princess gowns, crowns, and shoes were displayed for the girls to chose from...sarah immediately chose the pink dress (HUGE SURPRISE!!!) and the purple flip flops (again, a shocker!). she wanted to put the teeny tiny flip flops on NOW!!! we were given a pager to let us know when it was our turn...the pager was so cute! the fairy godmother talked to sarah when it was our time! the place was also so precious because everyone referred to sarah as "princess sarah" the whole time we were there!!!
the "fairy godmother in training" led us to sarah's dressing room where sarah had to say the magic words to make her clothes appear behind the curtain...BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOO!!!

i have NEVER seen such pampering in my whole life!!! sarah had TWO attendants the whole time. the girl who did sarah's hair worked on it for 45 minutes...seriously!!! i felt like sarah was getting ready for the oscars or something :)
sarah got to pick all of her makeup colors and her fingernail polish color...again, surprising that she picked all pinks and purples...she also got to choose her tiara and disney barrette for the back of her bun. the girl LOVES to make the decisions!!!
you need to click on the below pic so you can really see her facial expression...it was priceless! they had her close her eyes for the "big reveal" and when she opened her eyes she looked so mad!!!

sarah and her "fairy godmothers in training"...

after the bbb, we headed over to the exhibition hall for sarah's "photo shoot". it was hilarious! she really thought she was somethin' else!!!
